Leicester City defender James Justin has been ruled out of the season following an injury he sustained during their F.A Cup game against follow Premier League side Brighton on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old player is set to miss the rest of the season after damaging his knee ligaments. He ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the second half of their F.A cup game against Brighton which they won.
Justin has so far made 31 appearances in all competitions for Leicester City this season. He was carried off on a stretcher after landing awkwardly According to Brendan Rodgers, he said: “The scan hasn’t shown up so well, it’s a massive blow for us.”
He also said the player been incredible for the team, Brendan said Justin played in so many positions and been a minimum eight out of 10 in all of them. The is a very sad one for the team, Wilfred Ndidi and Jamie Vardy just returned to the team and now Justin.
