The Rockets’ James Harden, reports that he could barely see during the nights game against the Warriors.
The Rockets Games 2 loss to the Golden State Warriors, says after suffering a lacerated left eyelid in the first quarter, ‘could barely see’. Harden had bleeding in both eyes. In fact, this occurred after Draymond Green accidentally poked him as they both pursued a rebound.
Harden says “I couldn’t see nothing. They put a couple drops in to help it and numb it a little bit. All the lights were blurry. Hopefully it gets better day by day.”
The obvious concern here. How much will Harden’s vision improve by game three? Game 3, however, is on Saturday, so we hope he has his vision back in full.
For harden, having poor vision, he played superbly. In Game 2, he scored 29 points on 9-of-19, shooting including 3 of 7 from 3. However, it wasn’t enough though, they still lost the game.
The Rockets trial the Warriors 2-0 as the series moves to Houston. Although, they clearly need Harden at as close to full strength to clime back.
To advance, the Rockets have to win four of the next five games vs. Golden state.
For all intents and purposes, Game 3 is a must-win.
