Share

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, is being expected to announce the release of results for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination soon.

While candidates anxiously await the release of their results, here is a compilation of top stories on JAMB results.

More than 1.2 million candidates sat for the examination, which commenced nationwide on Thursday, April 11.

JAMB has said that the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination results would be released next week. Concise News learned that spokesman for the examination body, Fabian Benjamin, made this known on Sunday.

He said JAMB would reach out to candidates through their phone lines as soon as all the results of the 2019 UTME were ratified. But he did not state the exact day the results would be released.

“We are working round the clock to ensure the release of UTME results. Most likely, it will be at the upper week. We will use this week to conclude on screening of the results.”

Step 1:

Go to JAMB UTME e-Registration Portal:

Step 2:

Enter your details (correct email address and password), log in and click on the box ”Check 2019 UTME Examination Results”.

Step 3:

Your exam score will be displayed or shows ”You Do Not Have Any Result Yet.”

Some candidates will first receive their results via the email and their mobile numbers used for the exam registration.

Note: If you see a message saying ”You do not have any result yet”, don’t panic. Most candidates who have written their exams one to three days earlier are expected to see their results online. Just keep checking.

JAMB says candidates can check their UTME results on their mobile phones and should not “allow any Computer-Based Test centre to exploit them.”

The examination body’s Head of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, said JAMB was still screening for malpractice results of the over 1.2 million candidates that sat for the 2019 UTME and would release the results any time “next week.”

“As soon as we release results, we will announce to candidates and also explain the process of checking such results. We have simplified the process. Candidates will use their phones. They don’t need to go to any cyber café or internet provider.”
