The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has finally released the results for the candidates who sat for the exams this past week.
The head of Media and Publicity, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed on Friday, that the results would be ready by Monday, April 29, 2019.
“JAMB will send the results to your email and mobile phones,” he stated “but it can also be accessed online.”
The board said it would only release the results after undergoing thorough screening to identify and apprehend examination cheats.
The process would identify those involved in multiple registrations.
However, findings showed that some candidates have started receiving their results.
How To Check For Your Results
After purchasing the JAMB e-facility card, take the following steps.
Step 1:
Go to the JAMB UTME e-Registration Portal; http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility
Step 2:
When the page loads up, Login and click on the box ”Check 2019 UTME Examination Results”
Step 3:
Your score will be displayed on your computer screen or it will display “You Do Not Have Any Result Yet”.
Or Via text Messages;
Send: RESULT to 55019 using the same number used for the registration.
Further, while regretting the inconvenience caused in the process, reaffirmed its commitment to providing equal opportunity to all candidates in order to articulate their aspirations.
Over 1.8 million candidates registered for it according to NAN. The board, consequently, urged candidates to ignore all messages in circulation on how to check the results as they are all products of deceit.
