Manchester United and England forward, Jadon Sancho has admitted that his first season at Old Trafford has been a difficult one for him. He said he is looking forward to a fresh start under Erik ten Hag. Erik Ten Hag will be in Manchester United on Monday, after snubbing Ajax’s victory party. Reports have it that the Dutch coach has already identified Sancho as one of the players he would work to bring out the best in them.
Jodan Sancho made a return to the English Premier League from Borussia Dortmund last year, and he has endured a difficult first season at Old Trafford, scoring just five goals this term. Speaking to the Premier Productions, the former Manchester City Academy player said he was waiting to see the new ideas his coach will bring to Old Trafford.
He also said: “To start again fresh, with a new manager coming in, we’re looking forward to seeing what his ideas and plans for the team are.” “You only have to think positively. My career is only getting started and, hopefully, it will take off soon. This has been a difficult season, especially being a Manchester United player, with what the club has achieved over the years.” “United is known for winning trophies and being up there with the best. This season has been a difficult one for all of us, but I think we still have to show belief again.”
