International music executive, Jada Pollock, has revealed her disgust at being referred to as Wizkid baby mama.
Jada Pollock is the third woman to birth a child for Nigerian music sensation Wizkid.
The 38-year-old manager of Wizkid has on Friday made this revelation in a Question and Answer session hosted on her Twitter page.
The American-born music executive is the mother of Wizkid’s third child, Zion, birthed in 2017.
Pollock, who had once managed American musicians Chris Brown, also doubles as Wizkid’s manager, asides main manager, Sunday Are.
Speaking on her Twitter page, Pollock said it is discriminating to be referred to as a baby mama rather than a music executive.
She wrote “I think about this. It’s so degrading and discriminating when I’m referred to as Wizkid’s third baby mother before addressing me professionally by my name.
“The credit of my journey/experience is so underrated. The sad thing is, it’s our own blogs that don’t heighten and uplift each other.”
While clarifying that International blogs recognise her as a music executive professional rather than ‘baby mama’ which Nigerians pinned her as.
Jada Pollock added that, “It’s sad as we should all be a driving force to the platform and push Africa and its movement to the world in its strongest form; Not the ones to tear down our own. Rolling Stones and Billboard to name a few would be the ones to the professional title, uplift and elevate.”
Speaking about how she met Wizkid, Jada pollock stated that she was with American act Chris Brown on a Music tour in Lagos, when Wizkid showed up to perform.
She said, “Wiz came out on Chris’ show and the rest is history.”
On how she feels about the 31-year-old Grammy award winner, she said, “With all my heart! I have never loved anyone like this in my lifetime. Our love is magical. I want to have a big family with Wizkid.”
