Iyabo Ojo Warns Colleagues on Baba Ijesha's Case
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo warns colleagues about carelessly jumping on the conversations surround Baba Ijesha’s rape case.
The actress took to her social media pages to call out her colleagues, especially those in the Yoruba sect of Nollywood, for defending their fellow actor, Baba Ijesha, after he was accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl last week.
Recall that the actor was arrested by the police after a lady accused him of molesting her child for about 7 years. the reports claimed that the actor who was caught on camera was immediately arrested and is awaiting trial.
Some of the accused’s colleagues seemed to be taking sides with him by asking Nigerians to wait for his side of the story and asking for the CCTV footage as concrete evidence to the dismay of most like Iyabo Ojo.
Unable to control her anger, the actress blasted those supporting him in an Instagram video, carefully warning them to stay off the matter of they did not have anything reasonable to say. She also lambasted those who were asking for the footage to be released, knowing full well that it could be detrimental to the victim and her family.
Iyabo Ojo has always been very vocal about her opinion, especially when it involves issues of social injustice.
