Manchester United wonder-kid Amad Diallo has been handed his first international senior call up for the Ivory Coast.
Amad joined United from Atalanta in January and has impressed ever since his arrival. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made him a rather regular member of his matchday squads, after he spent some time finding his feet with the U23 team.
The performances of the 18-year-old have now caught the eye of Ivory Coast boss, Patrice Beaumelle, who has now handed the young winger his first call up, making him a part of the squad for the country’s latest Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Manchester United confirmed Diallo’s inclusion in the squad along with defender, Eric Bailly, who already has 36 international caps for the West African nation.
Amad will be available for selection when Beaumelle’s side take on Niger in a Group K clash on Friday, which they must win to hold on to top spot.
