Former Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic is close to coming back to the English Premier League as he admitted he will probably” join Everton after receiving a “good offer”. The player is set to becoming teammates with Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi .
Branislav Ivanovic left Chelsea and joined Russian side Zenit St Petersburg in 2017, after winning the Champions League with English Premier League side Chelsea. The player is been tipped to come back to the English Premier League to reunite with his former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti at Goodison Park next season.
The 36-year-old defender, who has also attracted interest from Red Star Belgrade, is a free agent and according to the reports he has confirmed the Merseyside club have made their move to sign him this summer.
According to Ivanovic, he said: “I will probably continue my career at Everton.” “I received a good offer from them.” “I will see how things will turn out.” He is also linked with a move to Serbian side Red Star in his homeland, he has not yet received an offer. He said: “So far, I have not received any offer from Red Star. “If anyone calls me then I will consider the offer. “Now, there is no need for me to be thinking about a move to Belgrade.”
