Nigerians hoping to see Don Jazzy walk down the aisle again especially with his former wife, Michelle Jackson may have to let go of that dream, as the music mogul has finally revealed why reconciliation is off the table.

“It’s Too Late” Don Jazzy Opens Up on Why Rekindling His Marriage Is No Longer Possible

During a recent interactive session with fans on X, the Mavin Records boss was confronted with a familiar request. A fan urged him to “reconcile again” with his estranged wife, a suggestion that has trailed Don Jazzy ever since he publicly disclosed in April 2021 that he was once married.

But in his characteristic calm and honest tone, the 42-year-old producer made it clear that there is no going back. His reason was simple: Michelle Jackson has remarried.

Responding to the fan’s plea, he wrote, “She don remarry,” putting an end to any lingering speculation about a possible reunion.

Don Jazzy had previously revealed that his marriage ended barely two years after it began, largely due to his relentless ambition and deep commitment to music. He explained that at the time, he prioritised his career over marital responsibilities, a decision that ultimately strained the relationship.

Over the years, the award-winning producer has maintained that he is not in a hurry to get married again. He believes the demanding nature of his career could once more become a source of conflict, and he prefers to stay focused on what truly brings him fulfilment.

Despite his personal reservations about marriage, Don Jazzy says he remains deeply satisfied with the path his life has taken especially his impact on the Afrobeats industry. From Wande Coal to Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks, Rema and Ayra Starr, the music executive has played a pivotal role in shaping some of the genre’s biggest success stories.

For now, marriage might not be on Don Jazzy’s agenda, but his influence in the music world continues to speak louder than any wedding bells ever could.
