Social networking platform, Instagram, has deactivated Ramon Abbas’ account on their platform.
Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi, has a verified account where he showcases a large lifestyle with different world designers.
The former Instagram sensation is currently standing trial in the United States after he was arrested by the International Police (Interpol) in his live-in hotel in Dubai in June 2020.
The 39-year-old, who has pleaded guilty to money laundering, was accused of duping people across different continents to the tune of millions of dollars and could face up to 20 years of prison.
