Nollywood actress Ini Edo has revealed how motherhood has changed a lot about her.
The Akwa-Ibom actress made these revelations in a recent interview with media personality Lilian Afegbai.
Ini Edo had her daughter through surrogacy after several miscarriages and had revealed that motherhood made her realise she could love someone more than she loves herself.
When asked how parenting has affected her, Ini Edo said, “The fact that you can actually love somebody else more than yourself.
“There’s a consciousness that comes with the fact that you’re responsible for somebody else’s life.”
The 40-year-old actress, in a chat with blogger Stella Dimokokorkus in December 2021, disclosed that she chose the path of surrogacy to fulfil her dream of becoming a mother.
She said she chose a donor for her peace and the baby’s peace, as she is scared of the controversies between father and mother over a baby when relationships do not work out.
