This leaves only Godwin Obaseki contesting at the primaries for PDP ticket. With about 2200 delegates ready to cast their votes today at the Ogbemudia Stadium, their job has just been made easier.
So far, Kenneth Imasuangbon, Gideon Ikhine, and Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama have all let go of their aspirations while still pledging loyalty and commitment to the PDP. They have all declared their support for the winning candidate, Obaseki.
However, voting will go ahead nonetheless as Obaseki is now ready to fly the PDP flag at the September 19 elections in Edo State.
