A Nigerian actress Ini Dima-Okojie has shared about her challenges with fibroid tumors.
In a video posted on Instagram, she disclosed that following a surgical procedure in 2020, the condition had resurfaced.
In her Instagram video, she talked about how she decided not to go for another surgery but instead went for a holistic method to deal with the symptoms.
“My Fibroid Journey! I never imagined I’d be sharing this again after my last update on 30/12/2020, but here I am.
“My journey with fibroids isn’t over. I recently learned they’ve returned. I’ll let you listen to the details in the video,” Ini Dima wrote.
Ini Dima-Okojie also mentioned her commitment to spreading awareness about fibroids and offering support to other women going through similar challenges.
She also revealed her intentions to cover the costs of scans for 20 women struggling with fibroids.
“I will be sponsoring scans for 20 women. If you know someone dealing with fibroids who could benefit from this, please share this with them,” she said.
