Iheanacho Scores Brace as Leicester Rolled over Braga 4-0

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho scored two yesterday as Leicester City beat S.C Braga 4-0. The Nigerian, however, says the English side must continue to work hard to reach their target in the Europa League. Leicester City has been impressive in the league this season they have won all three of their opening games.

The Foxes recorded their third win in the competition edging out Portuguese club Sporting Braga 4-0 last night. Kelechi Iheanacho netted twice and recorded an assist in the win at the King Power Stadium. Brendan Rodgers’ side occupy top spot in Group G with nine points from three games.

According to the Nigerian forward, he said: “We’re in a great position in the group. We still have a long way to go, but it’s about keeping going, taking it game by game and let’s see.” “The first goal came from a rebound and I was maybe a little bit lucky with the second too. Thankfully they all count! I’m happy to score again.”

“It was a good win for us. We did well, scored some good goals and deserved to win in the end.” The Super Eagles star player also promised to keep working hard as the season progresses. “I just need to keep working in training and doing my job.
