The residents of Ifo in Ogun State are under severe armed robbery attack for nights now. Taking to their social media pages to raise the alarm, many residents of Ifo, Sango Ota, Owode, Ilepa, Arigbajo and Itori narrated their different experiences. According to them, the armed robbers come in their hundreds and move from house to house as they operate.
This has forced their men, fathers, husbands and brothers, to become vigilante men as they try to secure their areas. Gunshots were heard from different streets ad people could be heard screaming and pleading for their lives.
The police has been informed and they claim to have sent their men to the localities affected, though the effect of their action is yet to be seen as the robbers proceed without obstruction.
