Icons Defend Laycon's Image Amid Crime Scandal
Lovers and fans of the Big Brother Naija season 5 winner known as the Icons defend Laycon’s image after a serious allegation was levelled against him.
Going into the BBNaija house, as many know, leads you into a new world that exposes you to all forms of public appraisal and criticism. However, this time, the icons had to stand up for their president after a Twitter user tried to drag his name through the mud.
The scandal started after the Twitter lady with the handle, Seyifumi O, belittled the artiste’s talent and hard work when she alleged that Laycon’s music career was nothing but a sham. She wrote,
“Laycon’s music career is a money laundering scheme”
As expected, that lady was lambasted from all corners of the internet over her heavy allegation. Some turned it into a fan war as they believed she was in the camp of another housemate, intending to destroy Laycon’s reputation. See some of the Icons comments below,
This seems to be a pattern for BBNaija winners as Laycon is not the first victim of these unfounded accusations.
