Nigerian actress and reality TV star, Erica Nlewedim, has finally broken her silence since her shameful exit from the recently concluded Big Brother Naija Season 5 show tagged ‘Big Brother Naija’ lockdown.
Erica was disqualified during the show over gross misconduct. In a recent interview shared by The Nations, the self-acclaimed ‘Star Girl’ opened up on how she felt after she was disqualified.
According to the 26-year-old, her disqualification from the show came as a shock to her and she was really embarrassed.
Erica added that she did not know how to face her family and friends after her disqualification from the show. The actress disclosed that she was wowed by the amount of love she got from her fans and she questioned why people love her regardless of how she misbehaved in the house.
In her words, ”First of all, I was in shock. I just watched the video myself. I was ashamed. I felt very sad because I had a goal but it was cut short by my actions. I felt really horrible.
”And then when I came out, I was like how am iI gonna fix my family, how am I gonna fix the people who were rooting for me. I was scared” she added.
Erica however said she received a warm welcome from her family and fans despite all that had happened.
The Big Brother Naija Lockdown Season 5 was won by Laycon, a friend of Erica in the show before things fell apart.
