Nigerian fast-rising singer, Stanley Omah Didia, professionally known as Omah Lay has shown he is not a doer of what he preaches (love) via his Twittter platform.
Omah Lay is regarded as one of the faces of the new generation of music stars. His debut album, ‘Get Layd’ is one of the most-streamed albums of Nigerian artists in 2020. His song ‘Bad Influence’ is also listed in the top 5 of most played Nigerian songs by Apple music.
The singer and songwriter in eccentric in his sounds and always keep his vocals sexy which has made him a ladies man. He is said to have the vocals of Wizkid and lyrical depths of Burnaboy in his sounds which are always based on love just like several other music artists.
Omah Lay, via his Twitter platform, got his growing fans talking with a negative statement on love despite talking much about it in style in the lyrics of his songs.
He made this known via a tweet @Omah_Lay ‘‘I don’t want to fall in love, that thing no dey work”
This comes after another Nigerian love singer, Fireboy DML said he’s not interested in love despite being an advocate for love in his song lyrics.
This has got many Nigerian hiphop fans talking on this matter of love.
