Nigerian Singer, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has finally reacted to the sudden death of Obama DMW, one of his crew members, who was also his Assistant.
In a lengthy and emotional tribute on his Instagram page, Davido noted that the death of Obama came to him as a rude shock, adding that his death is by far the hardest thing for him.
Davido admitted that the death of Obama DMW made him feel sad, hurt, lost and extremely confused for the first time in his life; he added that the pain caused by Obama’s demise is one beyond what he could explain.
He said Obama, also known as 44 is more than an elder brother to him, adding that he was a protector and someone who made him smile no matter the issue or problems at hand.
The famous Nigerian singer said he never believe that he would be writing a tribute for Obama so soon. He noted that the late 44 always encouraged him to stay strong.
You became so peaceful. You found peace and purpose, a true generational influence. I cannot even begin to count the number of people you helped, artistes you brought to me, people you brought together in nothing but love and brotherhood. Actors, artists, influencers all, God! 44 I swear you will never be forgotten.
He vowed to work towards ensuring that not a single one of Obama’s visions die. Davido said; indeed, his backbone is gone but won’t stop making him proud; the singer further explained that Obama’s son, Malik, is his son.
