It’s no rocket science to gain access to the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN’s redesigned Naira Notes, as the bills are now available in the various commercial banks.
All you need do as a customer is ensure you pay in the old currency to the Deposit Money Banks if you’ve not already adhered to the apex bank’s directives.
Now that the new Naira Notes are available for withdrawal, you can easily visit the nearest financial institution to make your claims.
Also, banks are starting to reconfigure their Automated Teller Machines, ATMs, to accept and pay the new currency so customers would have zero complaints when it’s time to collect their money.
It would be paramount to mention once again that the naira bills accessible are N200, N500 and N1,000 denominations.
Also, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, had in October announced that the apex bank would release redesigned notes by December 15, 2022, while the collection of old currency ends January 31.
