How Nigerian Muslim Celebrities Mark Eid-Fitr (PHOTOS)

Eid-Fitr is the period when Muslim faithful celebrates the end of the holy month of Ramadan fast.

Though, the 2020 Ramadan fast was unusual given the Coronavirus pandemic which made large gathering impossible.

President Muhammadu Buhari observed the Eid-Fitr celebration with his immediate family as he has earlier issued a press statement that he won’t entertain guest in the Presidential Villa.

Also, many Nigerian Muslim celebrities have taken to their social media platforms to let their followers know how they celebrated this year’s Eid-Fitr.

Nigerian Muslim Celebrities

1.Sound Sultan: Nigerian singer and actor, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan is a Muslim and during the fasting period, he often posted photos of how he observed the fast with his family members.

Sultan, who is regarded as one of the pacesetters of modern hip-hop music in the Country and a singer who knows his onions well on Sunday took to his Instagram page to share photos of how he celebrated Eid-Fitr with his family despite the lockdown.

The singer who dressed in a white Agbada took a photo of himself with his three children and beautiful wife, Farida Fasasi who is from the Igbo ethnic group.

2.Naira Marley: Another Nigerian celebrity who practice the Islamic religion is Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley.

The self-acclaimed Marlians President also took to his Instagram page on Sunday to let his followers know his mood after the Ramadan fast has ended.

During the fast, he sometimes posted warned some of his fans who sent him nude photos to stop such activities as he reminded them that he was fasting.

The controversial singer who is married to two women with four Children posted a picture which literarily expressed his urge for Sex.

3.Anto: Munirat Antoinette Lecky, popularly knowns as Anto is also one of the Muslim celebrities who posted photos to celebrate the Eid-Fitr.

The former Big brother Naija housemate had always posted pictures of how she observed the fast and sometimes pointed to some of the teachings of the holy month.

In one of her posts on Sunday, the 28-year-old BBNaija star prayed that may Allah accept the prayers offered during the Ramadan period and forgive the sins they might have committed.

She also cleared the doubt on the mind of many of her followers who wondered if she was a practising Muslim.

4.Pasuma: Famous Nigerian Fuji singer, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma is also a Muslim celebrity.

The singer also took to his Instagram page on Sunday to celebrate Eid-Fitr as he wished his fans the best of the celebration.

Pasuma who posted three photos of himself has tried to show his fans that he is not restricting himself to Fuji songs alone.

He has partnered with different Nigerian hip-hop artistes to show that he can blend with the hip-hop style of music as he has also demonstrated his skills as an actor.

5.Asisat Oshoala: Oshola is a famous Nigerian footballer and a Barcelona player who has won many awards through her Skills.

She is a practising Muslim and she also took to her Instagram page on Sunday to celebrate the Eid-Fitr.

She posted three different photos showing how she celebrated when she scored goals by bowing down to return the honour to Allah.

Asisat has played with Robo Fc, Rivers Angels, Liverpool ladies, Arsenal ladies, Dalian Quanjian Fc and presently plying her football trade with the Barcelona Fc.

Though the Coronavirus pandemic doesn’t allow Muslim faithful to gather in large number to celebrate the Eid-Fitr, many have expressed their gratitude for the successful completion of the fasting period and hope next year get better.
