Mr Hassan had previously snubbed two invitations to appear before the Assembly over the allegations levied against him.

Nollywood Star Declared Wanted

The actor’s arrest was ordered after a House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs report, which accused the actor of converting the Government Community Dispensary House at Fotedo to private use.

The Chairman of the committee, Bolanle Ajayi, said Mr Hassan disobeyed the order of the lawmakers to stop parading himself as a king.

The committee has recommended that the Government building be taken over by the community and Mr Hassan be declared wanted.

He reiterated that Onitasin of Itasin land remains the only recognised authority in Imobi Land.
