Hoodlums Chop Off Police Officer’s Manhood In Ebonyi

The Commissioner of Police in Ebonyi state, Mr Philip Maku said suspected hoodlums have cut off the manhood of a Police Inspector, Mr Egu Omini.

According to Maku, the suspected hoodlums also snatched his AK-47 rifle after attacking a police station in Abakaliki.

The hoodlums reportedly set the Central Police Station, Abakaliki ablaze.

The property burnt by the hoodlums includes exhibit vehicles, tricycles, motorcycles among others.

Also, two policemen, Paul Akpu and Ali Samson sustained bullet injuries during the attack.

In the meantime, Governor, Dave Umahi has given chairmen of three Local Government Areas in the State 7 days to fish out killers of the police officers.

Meanwhile, Umahi said the perpetrators of violence may be granted amnesty if they surrender within the timeframe.
