Hon Doofan Abu-Amali, Publisher of PapyrusMagazine, one of Nigeria’s most recognised monthly national publications, held the 6th annual edition of the double honour and award ceremony tagged “The prestigious “Distinguished CEO Awards” and the “Local Government Chairman Awards.”
On Saturday, November 20, 2021, the event in Abuja witnessed the rewarding of unique and distinctive Chief Executive Officers who have left a mark in the work they impact society with throughout the years.
In an initial statement by Hon Abu-Amali, she mentioned that the Papyrus Magazine Special Recognition Awards, Distinguished CEO Awards and Local Government Chairman Awards would be honouring, recognising and decorating notable persons across diverse sectors and industries.
According to her, these CEOs and Local Government Chairmen must have performed excellently in their various leadership roles, thereby supporting the growth and development of Nigeria.
At the occasion, they recorded the massive presence of renowned personalities from across Nigeria and Africa. Some of the confirmed Awardees for the 2021 Special Recognition Award are Dr Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha, Former First Lady Imo State and Founder of WODDI as “Woman of the Decade” Award.
Also, Fatou Saine Gaye, CEO Gaye Njorro Skills Academy as “Champion of African Youths Empowerment” Award, Abioye Oke, CEO of Lifestyle Asset Hub as “Africa Champion of Affordable Housing” Awards, amongst other reputable awardees.
