Hollywood films are swarming with just so many tropes and clichés. Clichés that couldn’t possibly happen in real life. And most of them have always bothered me and kept me from enjoying films with at least a decent story. Here are some of the most annoying movie clichés.
The one that always gets me is the last words of a dying character in a movie. It doesn’t matter I’ve they’ve had their guts ripped out or they’re bleeding out profusely. There must always be time for them to give one last significant advice or a moving speech. Then they dramatically give up the ghost afterwards.
In some film, an assassin or someone trying to infiltrate either a military base or an organisation goes into stealth mode. They now creep and crawl behind the unsuspecting henchman and knock them out. This is where it gets funny. The infiltrator then undresses the unconscious guy and wears their uniform and like a miracle, its fits perfectly. Irrespective of their obviously different body sizes.
As an individual, how many times have you ever locked your car and left the keys inside? Come on, nobody is that careless. In some action flicks, the main character just breaks out of jail or out of the hands of the band guys. They limp their way into the parking lot. Picks are random car and uses his elbow to break the glass. In some cases, the cars are not even locked. Then our protagonist sits inside and then checks the sun visor and viola! Like magic, the keys to the car are right there waiting for him/her.
