History Made as Ighalo Joins Rashidi Yekini in History Book.

Odion Ighalo early minutes AFCON match against Tunisia puts him in the history book as the second Nigeria player to score up to five goals in a single Africa Cup of Nation Tournament. His goal against Tunisia was also instrumental for the super Eagles in claiming a Bronze medal in the Tournament.

Rashidi Yekini and Ogion Ighalo

The Shanghai Shenhua striker joins the Ex-Supper Eagle player Rashidi Yekini who scored five goals at the Tunisia 1994 AFCON Tournament. Ighalo is also looking likely to win the Golden Boot award at the on-going AFCON Tournament with five goals, two goals ahead of three players, who will be battling it out in the final today: Sadio Mane (Senegal), Adam Ounas (Algeria) and Mahrez (ALG).

Alain Giresse and Gernot Rohr

Another interesting moment was experienced at Nigeria versus Tunisia match as old teammates meet but now as coaches in opposite sides. The match brought Alain Giresse the Tunisia Head coach and Gernot Rohr the Super Eagle Coach who were formal teammates at Bordeaux from 1977 to1986.

Ahead of the final match tonight, do you think Ighalo will clinch Golden Boot Award or will Sadio Mane, Adam Ounas or Mahrez turn the offset?
