A few days after the burial of Hinny Humoren, new evidence has indicted the Akwa Ibom State Police Command in the murder of the job seeker, who one Uduak Frank reportedly raped and murdered.
According to an investigation conducted by NextEdition, the Police in Akwa Ibom State compromised the investigation into the assault, rape and murder of Hinny Humoren. The publication noted that the police also attempts to cover many aspects of the crime.
The evidence further stated that Uduak Frank was not working alone against claims by state Police Commissioner Andrew Amiengheme.
The new evidence shows that Emem Emmanuel, the son of a prominent pastor of The Apostolic Church in Akwa Ibom State, first reached out to Hinny Humoren and offered to help her get a job. Later he proposed to link her with his boss, who he claimed was looking for a secretary.
According to an investigation, Emmanuel is suspected to be a part of a deadly murder gang in Uyo, and he was the person who sent the phone number of Uduak Frank to late Hinny, the job seeker.
Suspect’s Confession
EveryEvery.ng had reported that Frank Uduak narrated how and why he killed the young lady. While speaking, when the Akwa Ibom State Police Command paraded him, the suspect said he killed the girl in self-defence and not intentionally.
Frank Uduak confessed that he invited Hinny Humoren for a job. The suspect added that he had already told the deceased that he wanted to sleep with her first, and she agreed that he would use a condom.
According to the suspect, Hinny became furious when he started removing the condom, adding that she attacked him and led to him bleeding. Frank said he needed to defend himself by hitting her, which lead to her death.
