A helicopter crash has left four people dead in an airport in Chukotka, Russia. This is according to reports from TASS.
The helicopter which is a military helicopter, Mi-8 was said to be having technical malfunctions and was undergoing a test flight with servicemen in the helicopter.
Governor Roman Kopin said, “There were three crew members and one technician on board. All four died”.
A source for the Russian ministry of defence said the technical malfunction was the cause of the helicopter crash, with three crew members an a technician on board. According to TASS, the Russian Aerospace Forces Main Command Commission had departed to investigate the crash site.
