It is a big blow for Brazil as one of their top strikers could be missing the World Cup. Tottenham star player Richarlison had an injury in their 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday. The player’s World Cup “dream” is in doubt after he suffered a calf injury in Tottenham Saturday’s game.
The 25-year-old was substituted in the 52nd minute of the game and later seen on crutches. He is set to have a scan to determine the extent of the injury but has already been ruled out of Wednesday’s game at Manchester United.
Richarlison was in tears when he was talking about the injury, he said: “It’s kind of hard to say because it’s close to the realisation of my dream.” “I’ve already suffered a similar injury to this but I hope it can heal as soon as possible.” “The last time when I was at Everton, I was out of action for about two months.

Brazil will name their World Cup squad at the start of November. Their first game of the tournament in Qatar is on 24 November against Serbia. Richarlison has scored twice in 13 matches for Tottenham since his £60m move from Everton in July.
