Hilda Baci has been dethroned from her position as record breaker for the longest cooking marathon (individual). The Nigerian lady was over taken by Irish chef, Alan Fisher.

Baci completed her challenge at 93 hours and 11 minutes in May. Fans and celebrities alike celebrated her win. Her challenge led to a Guinness World records frenzy that gripped the nation.

Weeks after Baci’s win, Ekiti State’s Chef, Chef Dammy attempted to surpass Baci. However, attempts ended up going unrecognized by Guinness World Records.

In fact, Chef Dammy’s attempt was met with much criticism, with others feeling the title belonged to Baci.

Now, months later, Ireland hold the title courtesy of Fisher. Fisher completed the challenge at 119 hours 57 minutes.

Baci wrote on her twitter to celebrate his win just like she congratulated Chef Dammy for her attempt.

“Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and i wish him all the best as the new record holder!” – Hilda Baci
