Gun Clash with Terrorists Ends Horribly for Vigilantes in Taraba

Some terrorists who raided parts of Taraba State were triumphant over their security nemesis as reports revealed that about thirty vigilantes were overpowered in their gun battle with the armed bandits.

Yesterday, it was gathered that no fewer than thirty night-watchers were killed in a fierce gun clash at Gasol Local Government Area, LGA, Taraba State, under the burning ray of the sun.

On the contrary, the Taraba State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Usman Abdullahi, confirmed the incident but said scores of armed men were killed, adding that only two vigilantes died.

What’s scary about the incident is that a considerable number of the night watch members are still not accounted for when filing this report.

Before the clash, findings showed that both members of Miyeti Allah and the local guards in the state rallied around to gather the momentum to cleanse the forest where these unknown gunmen use as hideouts.

Terrorists Overwhelm Local Guards with Heavy Firepower

Sadly, things did not go as planned or pan out the manner they expected as the bandits overwhelmed them with heavy firepower.

The intel retrieved during their search showed that the bandits were located in a forest in Karbawi, near Karal village, close to Gassol town.
