Green Africa Airways has given Nigerian citizens more flight options as the Lagos-based aircraft today officially started its commercial activities.
The inaugural flight took off from the Lagos airline’s counters, situated in the Alpha Terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport 1 (GAT) and came all the way down to the popular Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
According to a statement from the aircraft’s Brand Marketing Specialist, Mrs Oyindamola Fashogbon, the flight tickets are sold at an affordable rate of sixteen thousand five hundred naira.

She said that following the announcement of the receipt of the airline’s Air Operator Certificate, AOC, from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, the flight company resumed operations, adding that Nigerians would be getting air-friendly ticket rates.
She added that the first flights into other destinations from Lagos are scheduled between August 14 and September 2, adding that customers who want to book a flight should visit their sites and enjoy low fares.
Meanwhile, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Green Africa, Babawande Afolabi, addressing customers, aviation dignitaries and journalists, said the airline was on a mission to connect more people in the country and Africa.
