After years of feeling left out of the Grammy Awards, the Academy finally resolved to include a new music category that would cater for a music generation that could be considered the greatest at word expressions.
The newly included category has to do with “The Best Spoken Word Poetry Album” and hopes to accommodate poets and every other act in this genre.
The genre, according to the Grammy Awards Academy, is perceived as a ‘Global Victory for Lovers of Language’ and will feature at the 65th Grammys come February 5, 2023.
It is also confirmed that the Nomination Lists will surface on every social media platform and internet space on November 15, 2022.
On the Recording Academy’s Twitter page, lovers of the award show started expressing their excitement about their expectations and what the new nomination class would mean to prospects.
Some fans already commenced suggesting names of potential winners of the Best Spoken Word Album, when the clock ticks February next year.
