Governor Akeredolu’s SSA On Political Matters Resigns

Amidst preparations for the forthcoming governorship elections in Ondo state, the senior special assistant, SSA to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Political matters in Ondo south senatorial districts, Hon. Andrew Ogunsakin has tendered his letter of resignation.

In the letter, Hon. Andrew explained that the call on him to join the train to actualize a common aspiration different from what is offered by the Akeredolu-led government and the APC stands as the basis of his decision to resign.

Andrew in the letter which was addressed to Governor Akeredolu, the former aide said he resigned his office as Senior Special Assistant on Political (South) to the Governor of Ondo State with effect from Friday, September 18, 2020.

However, he thanked the governor for the opportunity afforded him to serve as his SSA on political matters, Ondo South.

It was gathered that the former SSA was a close political associate of former governor Olusegun Mimiko before he joined the All Progressive Congress, APC.
