Gov Dave Umahi Talks Down on Labour Party in Ebonyi

Share

Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State has heavily criticised the Labour Party, LP and its members over their achievement in contrast with that of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The Governor spoke at length and revealed that LP has no record of any transformation projects that have positively impacted the lives of the Ebonyi State residents.

He insisted that his subjects in the state should flaunt APC with pride, adding that the state only recognises the ruling party.

While pointing out that LP is meaningless in Ebonyi, he declared that those who believe the ruling party has done much for them should vote for APC but support LP if they see any physical evidence of their achievements.

Gov Umahi asked the people of his state that if ever they are approached by agents to convince them of voting when the time comes, they should simply reply by talking about the Ebonyi Agenda and demand to know what LP has ever done to warrant any support.

“Did you vote for me? Do not look for our votes, Ebonyi State belongs to APC.” He said.

The Governor recalled how Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the current Presidential Candidate of APC, started with a single state and liberated the people of Lagos, which is what he wants for the Ebonyi people.

He hinted there’s the need to separate themselves from other states of the South-Eastern region without any apology to whoever is offended.
