Gospel singer Sammie Okposo has taken to his social media page to announce his break from all ministry work while giving a surprising reason to his fans and followers.
The popular singer took to his page to make the confession and revelation that took everyone by surprise. He noted that in late 2021 he cheated on his wife with another lady in the USA, which has caused an issue in his home.
He further added that as a result of this, he would be taking a break from all his ministry work as he intends to work in making peace with God, repenting and asking for forgiveness.
Sammie Okposo also publicly apologised to his wife for his shameful and embarrassing act which led to a break of trust and disappointment.
He said, “To my wife, Ozioma. I am sincerely sorry I put you through this shameful and disappointing situation. I broke your trust and disappointed you. Your forgiveness of my moral failure and poor judgement is important to me.“
