Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo has taken to social media to talk about the trending #silhouettechallenge.
Social media has been agog with the #silhouettechallenge where ladies transforms from being well-dressed into nude with the red & black background light as the silhouette.
Mercy Chinwo in her reaction condemned the challenge and has advised women not to partake in it.
In a post on Instagram, the singer urged women to know their self-worth and not to follow every trend online.
She advised women to desist from imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around them and be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit as she quotes the bible (Romans 12:2 ).
Her post reads, “Dear women, you don’t have to follow every trend. Carry thyself with dignity, know your worth.. this is why you are different. “
