Ghana is Disinfecting Markets, Nigeria Not Ready To Fight It
As part of the efforts to fight Corona Virus Pandemic Ghana is disinfecting markets, Nigeria not ready for the fight. Ghana is currently on a mission to disinfect all the markets across Accra Ghana.
Also, all the flights coming into the country in the last one week has all the passengers compulsorily quarantined in a government facility with proper provisions for minimum of 14 days. Needless to say that they are well ahead of the Giant of Africa in combating the corona virus.
As over 70% of the population of Nigeria in the various states believe that the virus is non-existent, it will be important to note that this might be as a result of poor sensitization on the part of the goverment.
As the possibility of social distancing is almost not feasible in Nigeria especially in major cities, individuals should do what they can to prevent the spread of this virus.
As we are waiting for the governement to step up just like the Ghanaian government is doing, ensure to take real steps to curb the spread of the corona virus.
