Gernot Rohr Make 25-Man List for Mexico Clash

Super Eagles of Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr has invited 25 home-based players for a forthcoming international friendly campaign against Mexico in the United States. The 25-man list included the famous Ezenwa of Heartland, John Noble, and Anayo Iwuala.

The game will be played in Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and it will be on the 4th of July. The foreign-based players have not impressed the country for some time now. They are yet to win their last six games, and they lose to Cameroon in the first international friendly. The player’s poor result might be why Gernot Rohr has decided to use the home base players.

The players invited are expected to report at the camp, Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja, on Tuesday. They are expected to come with all their travel documents. Out of the 25 man list, only 22 of the players will travel to the United States for the friendly.
