Georginio Wijnaldum Close to Joining Paris Saint-Germain
The French Ligue 1 side, which finished second in Ligue 1 last season, has reportedly stepped in with a better offer and Georginio Wijnaldum is willing to join them. The presence of Mauricio Pochettino at PSG is also thought to have been a factor. The Liverpool and Dutch player spoke highly of the former Tottenham manager before signing for Liverpool years back.
The deal is still yet to be completed, but the former Newcastle United player is certain to move to the French capital. Wijnaldum is currently with the Netherlands squad preparing for Euro 2020. He has made 237 appearances for Liverpool, where he won the Premier League and Champions League.
