Famous Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo has posted a conversation that ensued between him and his son, Alexander.
In a post via his Instagram handle, the singer revealed how he and his son talked about money and how his son wanted him to use his money to buy him a Ps 4 game.
Alexander: Daddy, I want another Ps 4 game.
Me: ok
Alexander: Huh, daddy, are you tricking me?
Me: Not at all, On Monday I will drive to the bank and withdraw some of your money then you can buy two games.
Alexander: No, daddy, Use your money; my money is for the future.
Me: Don’t I have a future?
Alexander: No, daddy, you will be old in future.
Me: So older people don’t need money?
Alexander: Don’t worry, I will take care of you then.
Me: My old self wants to take care of myself.
On Monday you will buy your game with your money.
Alexander: Daddy don’t worry, I will manage the ones I have, I don’t want again, Please don’t go to the bank.
Me: no, I must go. I need a few things, my son will buy them for me.
Alexander: Daddy, please don’t use my money. I will need it in the future.
Me: ok Alexander, can I borrow some of it?
Alexander: let me go and ask mummy first.
