Men of the Nigerian Police Force have arrested popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele.
This followed the outcry on social media for the immediate arrest of the actress for organizing house party despite government’s order that Nigerians should sit at home to avoid the further spread of Coronavirus pandemic.
You will recall that many Twitter users earlier today called for her arrest for defiling the sit at home order and social distancing measure announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
The call followed a video that went viral on social media where Funke hosted many people in her Amen Estate in celebration of her husband’s birthday.
Though, the actress has posted a video to apologise to her fans for defiling the order, it seems she has bite more than she can chew as she finally landed in police net.
