There’s currently fuel scarcity within various parts of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, as car owners could be seen queuing to purchase the Premium Motor Spirit, PMS.
At the popular filling station opposite the Nigeria National Petroleum Commission, NNPC Tower, motorists formed a very long queue from the station and curved right down to the National Library road.
Everyevery.ng monitored the situation and found out that because of the fuel scarcity, the queue was in no way moving fast, even it the process of buying was properly coordinated but irritatingly slow.
Engaging one of the motorists at the premises of the filling station, Mr Moses Akhato, said the queue had been stagnant for hours, and the reason, according to him, might be related to activities of those who come around to flex their muscles, show less respect for due process.
He went as far as stating that there usually are some places where government officials are stationed at various locations to monitor the activities of the fuel pump attendants and ensure none is adjusted.
