Former Senate President, Saraki Bags New Appointment

Former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki has bagged a new appointment from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as the chairman, National Reconciliation Committee of the party.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan disclosed this via a tweet on Monday.

Members of the committee are former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Pius Ayim, former Cross Rivers state Governor, Liyel Imoke and former Gombe State governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo.

Others are Ibrahim Shema, a former governor of Katsina State and a former House Minority Leader, Mulikat Akande.

Saraki Bags New Appointment

The committee is expected to work to resolve grievances and disagreements among party members across the country.

In a related development, the PDP has inaugurated the Ebonyi state chapter caretaker committee at the event presided over by the party’s Deputy National Chairman North, Senator Suleiman Nazif.

It was gathered that Nazif represented the National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus at the event.
