The networth of US President, Donald Trump has dropped an estimated $600 million to $2.5 billion, hence putting him at No. 339 on The Forbes 400, down 64 spots from a year ago when his worth was $3.1 billion.

Trump reportedly has a significant debt against his property in D.C. and Chicago, both of which appear to be underwater these days.

Meanwhile, the CEO and founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, remains in the top spot on the 2020 Forbes 400 list for the third consecutive year with his fortune of $204.6 billion as of August 26, 2020.

This was contained in the 39th annual Forbes 400 list, the definitive ranking of the wealthiest Americans including a comprehensive report of what these billionaires are worth and how they are using their money to make an impact.

It was gathered that America’s super-rich people are doing better than ever despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Assistant Managing Editor, Wealth at Forbes, Kerry A. Dolan, the remarkable growth in fortunes of The Forbes 400 stands out at a time of pandemic-induced economic upheaval.

Forbes announced that there are 18 newcomers on this year’s list including the CEO of Zoom Video Communications, Eric Yuan, co-founder of the Boston Beer Company, Jim Koch and the founder of electric and hydrogen-electric truck maker Nikola, Trevor Milton.
