There is good news for some of the #EndSARS Promoters who have approached the Federal High Court to contest the heavy yokes placed on them by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
It could be recalled that a Federal Court in Abuja had on November 4, 2020 given an order to freeze the bank accounts of some individuals said to be promoters of the wide spread #EndSARS protest.
These promoters have since prayed that the court receind its judgement by unfreezing their affected bank accounts.
Justice Ahmed Mohammed of a Federal High Court in Abuja, has finally answered their prayers, in its ruling on Wednesday.
He ruled that all concerned banks should with immediate effect unfreeze the affected bank accounts.
The Judge also trashed suit FHC/ABJ/CS/1384/2020 filled by Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, in respect of which ex-parte order freezing the accounts for 180 days was made.
