Femi Otedola
Nigerian businessman, philanthropist, and former chairman of Forte Oil PLC, Femi Otedola, has pledged to donate One billion naira towards the eradication of Coronavirus, COVID-19, in Nigeria.
According to him, there is the need for everyone to come together to fight against the deadly virus.
In a post on his Instagram page, the business mogul said ” I will be contributing 1 billion Naira towards the eradication of COVID-19 across Nigeria, we must all do what we can to flatten the curve“
Meanwhile, many of his followers have commended his goodwill to donate towards the eradication of the virus, which has grounded almost every sector and activities around the world.
As at the time of filing this report, the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC pegged the number of people infected with the virus at sixty-five with the fourteen new cases that were announced on Thursday.
