…Gives Reasons Presidency Won’t Name Terrorists’ Financiers
Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, has continued avoiding questions on behalf of his boss on issues of terrorism.
This time, the S.A. Media blatantly stated that the Federal Government had not expressed any concern about revealing the identities of terrorism financiers.
The only concern of the present administration in addressing issues on terrorism, he said, is ensuring the security outfits make the terrorists face proper persecution for their crimes.
The presidency spokesperson who spoke in a live interview on Television reemphasised the position of the All Progressives Congress, APC Government, that instead of telling terrorism, the present administration would rather focus on prosecuting suspects.
Femi Adesina Says Terrorism Sponsors Would Face Justice
Responding to if Buhari would comment on terrorism at the United Nations Assembly, following the Naming of six Nigerians as “sponsors of terrorism” in UAE, he said those on the list would have their days facing the law.
“You will see that the United Arab Emirates has given some names, and the attorney-general of the federation has responded to that matter, saying that in due course, all these people will have their days in court.” He said.
