FCT Records 18 New COVID-19 Cases, 48 Deaths In Total

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed that the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja has 18 new COVID-19 cases, one death while twenty-one patients were discharged on Monday, August 10.

Also, in a tweet by the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, it was announced that the total number of confirmed cases in Abuja is 4485, while 1112 patients have been discharged with 48 Deaths so far.

Earlier, the NCDC has announced that 290 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Nigeria with Lagos state topping the chart with 82 cases, Plateau-82, Oyo-19 and Edo reported 16 cases.

Others are Kaduna-15, Enugu-9, Ogun-9, Kano-8, Kwara-8, Cross River-5, Ondo-5, Rivers-5, Ekiti-4, Imo-3 while Borno recorded 2 new cases.

According to the NCDC, Nigeria has 46,867 confirmed cases, 33,346 discharged patients and 950 deaths recorded as of Monday, August 10.
